Noor Sandhu Construction Co. is a commercial and residential contractor based in Abbotsford, BC that provides construction management design build and general contracting services. We are eagerly looking for 2 construction helpers to help continue our growth. As construction helper, the candidate must perform the following job duties.

Job description:

Construction helper (NOC- 7611)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Fulltime

Salary: $20.00/hour for 40 hours/week

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Location: Various location across lower mainland and Vancouver

Noor Sandhu Construction Co. is a commercial and residential contractor based in Abbotsford, BC that provides construction management design build and general contracting services. We are eagerly looking for 2 construction helpers to help continue our growth. As construction helper, the candidate must perform the following job duties.

Job Duties:

• Set up work stations and equipment to be used at a job site
• Safely load and unload and move construction materials such as lumber, tools and other equipment at a worksite
• Mix, pour and spread materials
• Assemble and break down barricades, temporary structures and scaffolding
• Assist tradesmen with framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
• Level earth to fine grade specifications to prepare for construction
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
• Remove all rubble and other debris, pack up tools, put away any unused materials from active worksites
• Maintain safe and secure environment at construction sites while following safety regulations

Requirements:

• Education: None

• Experience: No Experience required but any experience in construction industry will be considered an asset

• Language: Basic English is a requirement

Other Skills:

Willing and able to perform physically demanding work including the ability to lift upto 50lbs

Willing to work outdoors, indoors, and all-weather conditions
