TRUCK DRIVERS

Terms of employment Permanent, Full time 40 to 44 Hours / Week

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years

Transportation/Travel Information

Willing to travel cross-border, Willing to travel for extended periods, Travel expenses paid by employer, Valid driver's licence, Willing to travel overnight

Load and unload goods, Drive lighter, special purpose trucks, Perform preventive maintenance, Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Pay and receive payments for goods, Perform emergency roadside repairs, Transport and handle dangerous goods, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)

Air Brakes Endorsement, AZ class license, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
