Baker needed for busy Eastern European delicatessen.
Salary 16.00/h, permanent full -time (40 hours per week)
Willing to relocate/relocation cost covered
Job requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, 3 -5 years of experience, ability, knowledge and experience in baking traditional Eastern European breads and pastries, personal suitability: dependability, team player, reliability.
Duties: prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, deserts and pastries, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to Eastern European recipes or special customer orders, sets time and speed controls for mixing machines, or blending machines, or mixes by hand so that ingredients will be mixed or cooked according to instructions, measure or weigh flour or other ingredients to prepare batters, doughs, fillings, or whipped cream, using scales or graduated containers, bake mixed dough and batters, prepare special orders, frost and decorate cakes and baked goods, draw up production schedules, ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, inspect kitchen and food service areas, operate machinery, prepare garnishes as needed for baked goods, maintains adequate supply of all prepared products on hand and ensures the proper storage and refrigeration, keeps spoilage/waste to a minimum by ordering and utilizing proper quantities and rotating products, follow up hygiene and safety procedures.
