Job description:

Shop Assembler – Wood products manufacturing

Wages: $16.50 to $18.50/Hour for 40 hours per week

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Language: English

Minimum Education: High School

The successful applicants will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting ant issues with equipment directly to maintenance supervisors.

Job duties include:

• Responsible for operating and maintaining equipment in a warehouse
• Assemble wood and metal windows & doors with fabricated components
• Reinforce assembled products with dowelling or other supports
• Store goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse
• Install handles, hinges, multi point locks, casement hardware & door hardware
• Maintain work areas and equipment

Job skills:

• Able to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds
• Working knowledge of electronic and manual tools
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to learn new tasks quickly
