Job requirements

Education: College diploma or above

The qualified candidate will be responsible for:

  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations of inventory control department and related administrative services.

  • Implement and execute an inventory replenishment system ensuring proper levels of stock.

  • Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals.

  • Oversee accurate accounting of incoming inventory by reviewing costs and retails, quality control of merchandise in accordance with contracts/agreements.

  • Recruit, hire and train inventory control team staff. 

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the staff members engaged in inventory control and inventory record, direct and supervise staff compiling records related to ordering, storing, issuing, receiving, shipping materials, supplies, and equipment.

  • Supervise team staff’s activities, organize and arrange schedules and tasks, provide leadership and support, direct and control corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures within the company.

  • Review the success of logistical functions and identify areas for improvement.

  • Prepare and present reports regarding market conditions, organizational spend, performance data and any current or foreseeable inventory issues to Management, propose improvements to management and Sales/Marketing team leaders.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications and Skills:

  • 5 years or above of experience in a management role with Purchasing or Inventory Control.

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.

  • Strong organizational, operational, and planning skills.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • Microsoft office suite proficiency required.
