Develop manufacturing and processing procedures; Develop and carry out health, safety and fire prevention plans; Develop and carry out work study; Develop and conduct production, inventory and quality assurance programs; Design plant layouts and production facilities; Conduct work measurement or other studies; Conduct safety training programs; Collect and analyze data and samples; Collect and compile operational or experimental data; Develop computer applications for machines and processes; Read blueprints and drawings; Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports; Set machine or equipment controls, oversee production and inspect processes
