Term of employment: Permanent, Full-time
Working hours: 30-40 hours per week

Compensation: $36.00/hourly

Location: 570-4400 Hazelbridge Way, Richmond, BC V6X 3R8

Job Duties:

• Deliver classes and provide a positive learning environment for students
• Design and develop lectures and workshops to sustain students’ interest in drawing and painting
• Design appropriate teaching plans and schedules
• Prepare drawing and painting materials before classes
• Teach and supervise students in practical workshop session
• Facilitate classroom procedure and inculcate discipline in students
• Monitor students’ progress and academic development in painting and drawing
• Conduct course and program evaluation or review
• Supervise teaching assistants as needed

Job requirement

• A college diploma in fine arts or art related field is required.
• A portfolio of art work is required.
• Experience in teaching painting, drawing or fine art related subjects an asset.
