General Manager - Financial, Communications and other Business services

Roles and Responsibilties:

  • Obtains profit contribution by recruting, managing staff and establishing and accomplishing business objectives.
  • Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; and enforcing ethical business practices
  • Approve overall human resources planning
  • Increases management’s effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies, and objectives; assigning accountabilities; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; developing incentives;
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions
  • Allocate resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
  • Establish financial and administrative controls along with maintaining budgets and optimize expenses
  • Accomplishes subsidiary objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; and making mid-course corrections.
  • Coordinates efforts by establishing procurement, production, marketing, field, and practices; and coordinating actions with corporate staff.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

Compensation & Hours:

Salary and working hours: CAD $59.05 per hour with minimum 30 hours per week

Overtime Rate: $88.57 per hour starting after 44 hours per week

Holiday pay: 4% of gross pay
