Title of Position: Automotive Service Technician (NOC 7321)

Position Available: 1

Employment Type: Permanent, permanent (35-40 hours/week)

Wage: $28.5 dollars per hour

Language required: English

Location of work: same as business address

As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for the following job duties:

• Perform work as outlined on work order with efficiency and accuracy, including vehicle inspections, diagnostics, estimates, replacement and repairs;
• Communicate with advisors about work details;
• Inspect running motor, road-test vehicles, and test automotive systems and components;
• Use computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose malfunction;
• Test and adjust repaired systems in accordance with manufacturer’s standards and perform repair;
• Perform scheduled maintenance service and other duties, such as changing oil, giving tune-ups, rotating tires or modification if asked;
• Explains to customers about the performed work, vehicle condition and future maintenance requirement.

Job Requirements:

• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• Completion of automobile technician training courses/vocations programs, or work experience in automobile repair industry is an asset.
