Job description:
1 Full-time permanent Food Service Supervisor (NOC 6311) position available at 2347917 Ontario Inc. O/A Subway, located at 2136 Burnhamthorpe Rd. W, Mississauga, ON, L5L 5Z5 ,Canada
Main Duties to be completed as per the lead statement of NOC 6331:
- Provide supervision, tasks coordination and support to the staff.
- Prepare staff weekly schedules
- May assist management with screening of new applications is required
- Ensure that food preparation meets the quality standards
- Supervision of inventory control, maintenance of records of stocks, repair orders, sales contract and prevention of unnecessary wastage.
- Supervision of delivery of ingredients, supplies and goods ordered on regular basis.
- Train new hires and ensure workplace safety, cleanliness and hygiene measures are followed by all employees
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
- Provide fast and friendly service to the clients
- Resolve work related problems and grievances and perform other duties as required
Employment requirements
- Completion of secondary School
- Minimum one year of experience in related field.
- May require to work on flexible schedule: early mornings, late evenings weekends and holidays.
- Ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers
- Must be punctual, reliable and comfortable to work in fast pace environment.
Compensation:
$16 per hour for 37.5 hours weekly. Overtime starts after 44 hours
