We deliver billions of items to Canadians and customers outside of Canada each year.


We are looking for an exceptional Project Administration Officer to fill in one of the key roles in our newly emerging and evolving  Project Management Office (PMO). We are going through a transformation to become a modern, new age leader in our industry where innovation meets efficiency. We are looking for experience but more so a special type of personality to fill in this very exciting but critical role.

What we are looking for:  Knowledge of administration, project management or in related field. Proven ability to work in close cooperation with senior managers and to coordinate the activities of an executive office. Ability to take a leadership role in demonstrating best practices in administration. Ability to prioritize conflicting needs, handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures. Must have a high degree of initiative to make independent informed decisions. Advanced knowledge of computer systems and applications, such as Windows, word processing software, presentation software, spreadsheets, the internet, email and electronic scheduling tools. Ability to handle a wide variety of complex and confidential matters with diplomacy and discretion.

Education - college diploma, or certificate in project management 


Experience- 2-3 years in project administration or related field.


Duties:

Review, evaluate and implement new administrative procedures

Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met

Carry out administrative activities,  coordinate and plan for office services such as  equipment, supplies, forms

Collect data,  interpret it and provide insights into areas of risks and opportunities for improvements
Forecasting and planning based on the data on current projects

Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory.

Assemble data and prepare reports for senior managers
