Truck Driver
Job details
Location Mississauga, ON
Salary: $25.00 hourly for 37.5 to 50 hours per week
Terms of employment: Full time
Start date: Starts as soon as possible
Job Responsibilities:
- Operating and driving truck to deliver orders on time according to scheduled route
- Transporting orders from our warehouse in Mississauga to clients in the delivery region
- Inspecting vehicle condition before and after delivery orders
- Able to perform emergency roadside repairs when needs, and report problems to supervisor
- Keeping track of mileage log, hours of service, and fuel consumption
- Accurately loading and unloading delivery orders
- Reviewing orders to ensure they are accurate, picking from order sheet when delivering to customers
- Making sure client signs delivery invoice and pick up payments
- Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
- Working with Sales and Warehouse Staff to ensure smooth customer service
Requirements:
- Secondary school graduation
- AZ / DZ class truck license
- 3 years to 5 years related work experience
- Ability to work independently
- Open to work on statutory holidays and weekends
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Positive attitude
- Comfortable driving long distances
- Familiarity with routes in and around GTA
- Understanding of food products is an asset
- Good customer service skills
- Clean driver's abstract
