Permanent Position: Glazier (NOC 7292)

Terms of Employment:  Permanent, Full Time (Overtime, weekend if required)

Wage Rate:  $26 per hour (40.00 hours per week)

Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Main Office: 3 Unit G/H, 8065 130 St, Surrey, BC, V3W 3B1

Education: High school required.

Experience: 2 - 3 years of work experience

Language: English.

Job Duties:

• Repair glass doors and other glass structures.
• Position and secure panes in frame.
• Measure, mark and cut glass; Install door, window and other hardware.
• Determine type of glass, frames and material required.
• Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors or glass products.
• Tint glass and create patterns on glass by etching, sandblasting or painting designs.
• Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolds, rigging and hoisting equipment.
• Fabricate metal frames for glass installation.
• May prepare cost estimates for customers or clients.

Additional Skills:

• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
