Duties: 

• Set up service for customers, installing, connecting, testing, or adjusting equipment.
• Inspect telecommunications equipment to identify problems.
• Analyze test or performance data to assess equipment operation.
• Splice cables, using hand tools, epoxy, or mechanical equipment.
• Work in restricted spaces such as trenches, passageways, and crawl spaces, or climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures.
• Coordinate the planning and fulfillment of job tasks by communicating with coworkers.
• Clean or maintain tools or test equipment.
• Assist in the construction or removal of telecommunication towers and supporting structures.
