INDICAN ENTERPRISES LTD. is looking for a “Cook” to join their venture being operated as SANGAM RESTAURANT & CATERING located in Mission, BC, Canada.


Position: Cook

Terms of employment: Permanent / Full Time

Vacancy: 2

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: $25 hourly for 40 hours per week

Language: English

Location: D100, 7871, STAVE LAKE STREET, MISSION, V2V 6B2

Experience: 2 to 3 years

Cook (NOC 6322) will have to perform all of these duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
• Cooks may specialize in preparing and cooking ethnic cuisine or special dishes.

Additional Skills:

Must have at least secondary school qualification, Candidate must bereliable and have a passion for making food.  Must be reliable and clean, should have planning skills and to work under pressure. Quick task manager and should have knowledge about kitchen safety.
