Dump truck driver

  • Wage: $21.00 / hour

Languages

English

Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years

Own Tools/Equipment

Hard hat, Steel-toed safety boots

Security and Safety

Basic security clearance, Drug test, Driver's validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract)

Transportation/Travel Information

Own transportation, Drive manual transmission vehicle, Valid driver's licence

Specific Skills

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Load and unload goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Perform preventive maintenance
