Fruit Patch Produce Inc. is a trucking company located in Richmond, BC. We are currently hiring 5 full-time “Long Haul Truck Drivers” for our growing team.

Work location: Unit 135 - 21320 Gordon Way, Richmond and need to drive truck across Canada and the United States
Job Duties:
• Operate and drive tractor-trailor to transport goods and materials over long distances.
• Verify that materials being transported do not exceed weight restrictions and have been loaded correctly in accordance with safety requirements.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and perform pre and post trip inspections and obtain required documentation to transport goods.
• Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness.
• Promptly report any accidents, injuries or mechanical faults to management.
• Record rest periods, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Communicate with supervisor/dispatcher and customers to organize routing and delivery schedules
• Complying with all safety rules and regulations
Salary and benefits:
Salary : $27.00 (CAD)/hour
Vacation : 4% of gross salary
Job Requirements:
• Class 1 license or equivalent is required.
• Air brake endorsement is required.
• Experience as long-haul truck driver would be an asset
• On the job training will be provided.
• Functional English is required
