Job description:

Position: Pallet Rack Installer (7441)
Wage Rate: $25.00 per hour. 40 hours per week.
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, Weekend, Day, Evening shift, if required.
Language: Basic English
Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible
Education: High School Certification Required
Experience: 1 or more years of experience is required. Class 5 Driver’s licence required

Work Locations: Various Locations in Lower Mainland, BC
Job Duties:
- Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
- Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
- Able to install everything according to the drawing
- Operate machinery such as forklift and scissor lift equipment
- Install various styles of pallet racking such as selective, double deep, pushback and cantilever,mezzanines , shelves
- Install steel racking,warehouses,industrial facilities using hand and power tools
- Able to discuss change requests with customer
- Evaluate worksites and identify challenges prior to installation
- Expected to manage with unloading trucks for delivery and stock organizations
- Will be required to use power tools, lifting, moving, and adjusting rack systems
- Safety apparal required .Will be required to wear company uniform
Working Conditions:
- Heavy workloads, stand, bend, crouch and kneel.
- Job is physically demanding, ability to lift 50lbs is required.
- Work outdoors in cold, hot, rainy weather.
- Safety apparel required
