Job Duties:
Assist all food services and provide necessary training to employees.
Prepare meals by estimating and ordering ingredients and supplies.
Make sure that adequate food supplies are always available.
Maintain high standards of quality for food and services.
Establish work schedules and procedures.
Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
Ensure that each employee follows food safety regulations and procedures.
Supervise cafeteria services and catered events.
May assist in selecting food service staff and developing policies, procedures, and budgets.
Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, Ensure food service and quality control, Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, Prepare and submit reports, Prepare food order summaries for chef, Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, Supervise and check assembly of trays, Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys, Establish work schedules
