We have identified the need for a Construction Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis.

Job description:

GNF is committed to developing vibrant and unique residential, commercial, and retail opportunities. GNF develops and manages a wide range of projects incorporating progressive ideals from mixed-use master-planned communities to urban revitalization projects.

With each new major development, we achieve sustainable building practices through energy efficient design by focusing on offerings such as geothermal and eco-sensitive technologies. We have been in operation since 2018, having developed and sold over 100's of homes in many signature developments.

We have identified the need for a Construction Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be working with our construction team on various projects.

We offer $24.00 hourly for a full-time, permanent role.

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

3 to 5 years of relevant experience

Specific Skills

Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems

Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
