Burnaby Digital Media Inc is looking for an Advertising Consultant. This is a full-time job and requires the candidate to have at least 1 year of relevant experience to apply.  

Job Title: Advertising Consultant

Wage: $ 34

Job location: Unit 23, 7905-106 ave NW, Edmonton, ABT6A 1H7

Work Hours: 37.5 hrs/week  

Language Requirement: English  

Minimum Experience Required: 1 year of relevant experience is required 

Minimum Education: A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, museology or a discipline related to a particular subject matter is required.

Job Duties  

• Perform thorough market research and competitive analysis to understand and effectively communicate product value proposition.
• Drive marketing initiatives to increase product visibility and market performance.
• Create product positioning to differentiate products in market and expand visibility.
• Penetrate new segments through use of strategic marketing initiatives.
• Develop and implement a marketing strategy according to objectives and budget
• Study company profile and operations to understand its marketing needs
• Provide advice on branding, positioning, communications, and other marketing issues
• Develop and nurture long term relationship within house teams and external vendors
• Give direction to marketing efforts with the most effective methods and tools
• Keep abreast of emerging trends and share best practices knowledge and insights
• Identify and craft primary media messages
• Develop goals and strategies
• Prepare reports and deliver marketing presentations
• Prompt a new perspective on customers or marketing strategies.
• Prepare detailed proposals and marketing plans
• Advise on branding, positioning, communications, and other marketing issues
• Initiate and maintain contact with the media
• Arrange interviews and news conferences
• Act as spokesperson for an organization and answer written and oral inquiries
