Job description:
Star pacific transport ltd. is a well-known transportation company which is based in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
We are currently looking for one (01) full-time, permanent Administrative Assistant (NOC: 1241) for our business.
Work Location: Unit 122, 32083 Hillcrest Ave, Abbotsford, BC – V2S 1S3
Requirements:
- Completion of High School is required.
- More than 2 years of experience in Administration or related field is required.
- Knowledge of English Language
- Basic knowledge of Computers.
Wages: $25.00/hr. for 40 hrs./week +4% Vacation pay
Job responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the efficient operation of the company.
- Assist managers and other workers in variety of tasks such as completing documentation.
- Must be able to operate office Machinery such as Printers, scanners and provide support to office in scanning, copying etc.
- Perform a variety of administrative duties in support of logistics, administrative, and management staff
- Maintain all the documentation related to company such as insurance, maintenance records and bills in form of hard and soft copy.
- Order required stationery and supplies for the office.
- Answer call, mails, email and other inquiries.
- Distribute the mail to the departments
- Prepare, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, and other documents.
- Make sure all the payments are made in timely manner.
- Keep the record of all payments and expenditures.
- Arrange travel schedules and make reservations for employer, if needed
