Job description:
Food Service Supervisor
Position Type: Full-Time Permanent
Minimum Working Hrs per week: 35 hrs
Location: Oakville
Wage: CAD 17.00 per hour
Duties:
- Supervises employees engaged in serving customers and in maintaining cleanliness of products, preparing areas and equipment.
- Trains workers in performance of duties.
- Assigns and coordinates work of employees to promote efficiency of operations.
- Inspects preparation areas, utensils and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met.
- Keeps records of inventory and hours worked by employees.
- Inspects supplies and equipment to maintain stock levels and ensure standards of quality are met.
- Prepares work schedules and evaluates work performance of employees.
- Interview, select, or hire new employees.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Maintain and demonstrate professional work ethics, moral integrity and a positive attitude at all times.
- Deal with suppliers, negotiate delivery arrangements.
- Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business
