Job description:
Position: Die-cutting machine operator
Job duties:
- Make-ready, adjust and run job as efficiently as possible to meet safety and productivity standards.
- Examine job order to determine quantity to be cut, stock specifications and special die cutting instructions.
- Examine cutting dies for visual defects and apply correcting solution to repair minor defects.
- Responsible for quality of product. Make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
- Follows established quality control inspection and documentation procedures.
- Follows product identification procedures.
- Responsible for accurate written and computer production reports.
- Perform proper and required maintenance as well as cleaning of Die Cutter.
- Safely perform all tasks on and around press equipment.
- Attend and participate in ongoing training.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skill sets/experience required:
- Experience in Manufacturing/production environment.
- Minimum 3 years plus prior experience working with Die Cutting machines
- Strong Mechanical aptitude.
- Experience of Equipment Preventative Care and Troubleshooting.
- Must have basic Computer skills.
Terms of employment: Permanent Full Time (40 hours per week)
Language of work: English
Wage: $20.00/hr
