1016277 BC LTD located at 14321 69A Avenue, Surrey, BC, Canada V3W 0E2 is hiring 3 full time permanent Framer carpenters.

Terms of employment: Full time, Permanent

Wage: $26.00 per hour, for 35 hours per week

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Location: 14321,69A Avenue, Surrey, BC, Canada V3W 0E2

Job Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications
• Prepare layouts according to building codes by using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood and other materials
• Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate doors and wooden structures in industrial and residential establishments
• Construct foundations, put in floor beams, lay subflooring and elevate walls and roof systems
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment

 Job Requirements:

Education: Completion of secondary school

Work Experience: 3 years of experience in trade or completion of three to four-year apprenticeship program

Language: English is required

 Work conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, combination of sitting, standings and walking.

 Essential Skills: Reading text, Problem solving, Decision making, Significant use of memory, continuous learning
