Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Job Duties:
- Keep records of financial transactions for the establishment using computerised accounting systems.
- Reconcile and balance accounts.
- Maintain general ledgers and prepare financial statements.
- Calculate taxes, prepare payroll cheques, and submit tax returns.
- Prepare a list of accounts receivable and follow up on collections.
- Manage payment of business bills and maintain related records.
- Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
- Keep financial information up to date.
- Generate accounting and financial analytical reports as required.
- Compute, type, and mail monthly statements to clients and/or customers.
