Construction Helper (2 Positions Available)

Our operations include large-scale earthmoving, aggregate crushing and screening, site excavation, building demolition, site grading, and property construction.
Position Summary
TX Contracting Ltd. is currently hiring two (2) Construction Helpers to support our residential and commercial construction projects.
Job Details
- Wage: CAD $25.00 per hour
- Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Schedule: May require overtime and/or weekend work depending on workload
- Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Language: English

Job Responsibilities
- Assist construction crews by transporting materials, equipment, and tools around active job sites.
- Provide hands-on support during various stages of construction, site preparation, and project execution.
- Perform ground preparation tasks, including manual leveling, site finishing, and basic excavation using hand tools.
- Assist with demolition activities and help sort, handle, and remove reusable and waste materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas by clearing debris and materials from job sites.
- Support site safety operations, including assisting with traffic control when required.
- Participate in cleanup activities involving spills or contaminants in accordance with company safety procedures.
- Carry out general labour duties as assigned by supervisors to support overall project progress.
Requirements
- On-the-job training will be provided
- Previous construction or labour experience is an asset but not required
- Preference will be given to candidates with post-secondary education in civil engineering, construction, renovation, or related fields.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Willingness to work at various construction sites as assigned
