Job description:

 Job Details

• Develop and prepare engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data
• Create building information models (BIM), using computer software, to provide digital representations of physical and functional aspects of buildings and other engineering projects;
• Operate computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations
• Develop and prepare design sketches
• Complete documentation packages and produce drawing sets
• Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data
• Write technical reports
• Prepare contracts and tender documents
• Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates
• Supervise and train other technologists, technicians and drafters.

Rate of Pay

• You will be paid Cad$ 36.60 per hour. Payment is on a biweekly basis by direct deposit

starting on date of first pay period. 

Benefits (list vacation & sick days)

• You will be entitled to Two (2) weeks of paid vacation per annum

• You will be entitled to Three (5) days of sick leave per annual. 

Hour of Work (list hours ours of work)

• Hours of work will be 6-7 hours a day, 5 days a week (flexible schedule)

• Any hours over 40 hours a week will be paid an overtime rate of at 1.5x the normal

rate. 

Length of employment

• Start date: ASAP 

This is a full-time permanent position offered to you upon obtaining work permit or

permanent residency in Canada
