Phoenix Construction Systems Ltd. located in Abbotsford; BC is currently hiring 2 full-time Carpenter for their growing team.

Salary: $37.00 per hour
Start date: As soon as possible
Work locations: Various job sites in Abbotsford, BC and other areas of Lower Mainland (BC), and Fraser Valley depending on project requirements.
Job duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings, perform calculations, and prepare layouts.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
- Finish surfaces of woodwork in houses and buildings, using hand tools and paneling.
- Work on new projects remodels, or additions to existing wooden structures.
- Build foundations, install floor beams and subflooring, build walls, and install partitions.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
- Supervise other construction workers.
Job Requirements
- Completion of Secondary School
- Completion of a three- to four-year apprenticeship program in the trade or Minimum 3 years of experience in the trade is required.
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
