Job description:


We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize our daily logistics operations. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining cost efficiency. The ideal candidate excels in multitasking, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Shipment Coordination & Documentation

Arrange and monitor domestic and international shipments (air, ocean, road) with carriers and freight forwarders.

Prepare and review shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, customs declarations).

Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.

 

Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

Coordinate with warehouse teams for inbound/outbound activities, stock transfers, and cycle counts.

Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining accurate stock records.

Support warehouse optimization and layout planning when needed.

Tracking & Communication

Track shipments in real-time and provide regular updates to internal teams and customers.

Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, agents, and internal departments (Sales, Procurement, Customer Service).

Resolve logistics-related issues such as delays, damages, or documentation errors.

 

Cost & Performance

Monitoring Compare freight rates and negotiate with service providers to reduce logistics costs. Assist in analyzing logistics performance metrics (on-time delivery, freight cost per unit, etc.).

Maintain accurate records of logistics expenses and prepare cost reports.

 

Process Improvement

Identify inefficiencies in logistics processes and suggest improvements. Support the implementation of logistics software or system upgrades.

Contribute to sustainability initiatives (e.g., optimizing routes to reduce carbon footprint).
