Responsibilities
Tasks
- Act as the first point of contact for student enquiries by phone, email, and in person.
- Respond to student questions related to programs, schedules, fees, documentation, and procedures.
- Coordinate communication between students, instructors, and administrative staff.
- Prepare and proofread student and internal correspondence, notices, and reports.
- Create and update class schedules, meeting calendars, and student communications.
- Receive, review, and distribute electronic and physical mail and documents.
- Schedule and confirm meetings, appointments, and student orientation sessions.
- Greet students, visitors, and staff and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Maintain accurate manual and computerized student and administrative records.
- Set up and manage filing systems in accordance with college policies.
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Assist with student onboarding, orientations, and information sessions.
- Record and prepare minutes of staff and coordination meetings.
- Compile student data, enrollment information, and attendance records.
- Support new administrative staff with procedures and office software.
Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in Post-secondary Institutes
