Salary:

$28.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 35 hours per week

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years

Experience

On site

 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

Tasks

  • Act as the first point of contact for student enquiries by phone, email, and in person.
  • Respond to student questions related to programs, schedules, fees, documentation, and procedures.
  • Coordinate communication between students, instructors, and administrative staff.
  • Prepare and proofread student and internal correspondence, notices, and reports.
  • Create and update class schedules, meeting calendars, and student communications.
  • Receive, review, and distribute electronic and physical mail and documents.
  • Schedule and confirm meetings, appointments, and student orientation sessions.
  • Greet students, visitors, and staff and direct them to the appropriate department.
  • Maintain accurate manual and computerized student and administrative records.
  • Set up and manage filing systems in accordance with college policies.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
  • Assist with student onboarding, orientations, and information sessions.
  • Record and prepare minutes of staff and coordination meetings.
  • Compile student data, enrollment information, and attendance records.
  • Support new administrative staff with procedures and office software.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in Post-secondary Institutes
