Job description:

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and peeling vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, countertops, and utensils.
• Maintain proper storage and organization of food items.
• Assist in stocking kitchen supplies and ensure inventory is well-organized.
• Empty trash, clean the floors, and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen.
• Help with dishwashing and keeping kitchen tools and appliances spotless.
• Assist chefs and cooks in daily kitchen tasks and prep work.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Support kitchen staff during peak hours by ensuring they have the necessary tools and ingredients.
• Help with the loading and unloading of food deliveries.

Requirements:

• Experience is preferred
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A team player with a desire to contribute to the success of the kitchen.
