Drywall Installer Supervisor
Supervise, coordinate and guide a team of drywall installers, helpers, and labourers on residential and commercial construction sites.
Plan and organize daily work assignments and schedule crew activities to ensure drywall installation and finishing tasks are completed on time.
Establish work methods and monitor the progress of drywall installation, taping, and finishing work to ensure project specifications and company quality standards are met.
Inspect completed work and resolve work-related issues on site while recommending measures to improve productivity.
Estimate material requirements and order drywall sheets, joint compound, tape, tools, and other supplies needed for projects.
Train new employees on drywall installation techniques, proper equipment use, and safe work practices.
Ensure workers follow workplace safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized job site.
Provide updates to management regarding project progress, timelines, and any delays or operational concerns.
Assist with hiring decisions and provide feedback on employee performance when required.
Oversee the work of helpers and labourers assisting with drywall installation and finishing tasks.

Frequent or constant travel between job sites is required.
$37.90 for 40 hours per week

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.

Drywall installers and finishers
Trades helpers

Valid driver’s licence
Own vehicle required
Willing to travel to various worksites
Steel-toed safety boots
Safety glasses or goggles
Excellent oral communication
