Required Farm Supervisor (TEER 82030)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of farm workers involved in planting, cultivating, harvesting, and maintaining crops or livestock.
• Monitor farm operations to ensure productivity targets, quality standards, and biosecurity or safety procedures are followed.
• Assign work schedules, provide on-the-job guidance, and train new workers on proper farming techniques and equipment use.
• Inspect fields, facilities, livestock, or crops to identify issues such as pests, disease, or equipment malfunctions and take corrective action.
• Maintain records related to production output, inventory of supplies, worker attendance, and basic operational reports.
• Coordinate with farm management regarding labour needs, equipment maintenance, and improvements to farming operations.

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

Education: No Education requirement

Experience: 1-6 months of experience will be an asset
