Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods across various routes. Candidates must possess a valid commercial driver’s license and have experience in freight delivery, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks for the transportation of freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation for each trip
- Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
- Perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and report any mechanical issues promptly
Experience
- Minimum experience of 7 months to 1 year requird.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting is a plus
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required
- Experience in freight handling, logistics coordination, or related fields is advantageous
