Title of Position: Restaurant Chain Corporate Controller

 Establish objectives for the company and formulate or approve policies.

  • Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement the company's policies.
  • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments.
  • Represent the company to act on behalf of the company, in negotiations or other official functions.
  • Ensure that upon the new restaurant opening, the productivity and the quality remains at high standards and that costs are acceptable by planning the resources in the optimum manner.
  • Responsible for searching, selecting recruiting, appraisal , motivations, and standards of job performance of the individual within the team.
  • Accountable for coaching and training managers with appropriate skills and product knowledge to execute highest standards and growth.
  • Ensure all new employees in the department receive an induction training program.
  • Improve performance by motivation and monitoring staff continuously and investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.
  • Help and train advanced management skills and responsible for scheduling and rolling training programs for all restaurants.
  • Manage and oversee new projects, equipment, replacement, test programs and vendor relations.
  • Stay ahead of the operations through restaurant visit per company policy and evaluate restaurant practice against company standards.
  • Responsible for all marketing and advertising activities
  • Supervise quality control and quantities for preparing to minimize wastage, perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high of preparation and services.

 

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Wage: $64.10 Hourly for 30 hours per week

Benefits: 4% paid vacation

 

Qualifications/Skills/Requirements

  • Education: Completion of College diploma in hospitality
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in the food industry
  • Language: Speak English, Read English, Write English
