Job description:

Salary: $36.25 Hourly / 30 hours per week
Overtime:1.5 times gross pay after completion of 44 hours
Vacation Pay: 4% on every pay period

Duties:
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
- Discuss work with supervisor
- Review work orders
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components
- Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Perform scheduled maintenance service
- Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
- Provide customer service
Eligibility Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in English to follow work orders, safety procedures, and repair instructions accurately
- Capable of handling heavy-duty truck and trailer components, tools, and equipment in a physically demanding shop environment
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain high-quality repairs while working efficiently in a fast-paced repair facility
