Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Assist with food preparation such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and portioning ingredients
- Cook and plate dishes during service while maintaining quality and presentation
- Follow instructions from the chef or kitchen supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work station
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed
- Monitor food supplies and inform supervisors when stock is low
- Store food properly and label ingredients as required
- Coordinate and oversee the work of kitchen staff
- Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries
- Ensure proper food portioning and minimize food waste
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and preparation areas
- Work with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary school is required
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience is required
