Job duties
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from work areas
• Assist tradespersons and equipment operators with general construction tasks
• Prepare and clean work areas, including removing debris and hazardous materials
• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete, asphalt, and mortar
• Dig trenches, level ground, and perform basic site preparation work
• Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision
• Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding, ramps, and barriers
• Assist in aligning, positioning, and securing building materials as directed
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and job sites to ensure safety and efficiency
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites when required
• Follow all health and safety regulations and wear appropriate protective equipment
Work location: Various locations throughout lower mainland
