Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Job Duties:
- Oversee and manage all day-to-day salon operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
- Plan, organize, and coordinate daily activities, ensuring staff tasks are clearly assigned and completed on time
- Develop, implement, and update workplace policies and procedures to maintain consistency, safety, and service quality
- Monitor, plan, and control budgets while tracking expenses and managing inventory to minimize waste and maximize profitability
- Manage and negotiate contracts for advertising, promotions, and marketing strategies to grow the business and attract new clients
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring team members are skilled, motivated, and meeting performance expectations
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner to maintain high levels of client satisfaction
- Assist in creating staff schedules and coordinating workflow to ensure adequate coverage during busy and slow periods
- Maintain appropriate stock levels by ordering supplies and tracking product usage to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Plan, direct, evaluate, and continuously improve overall salon operations and performance
