We are currently seeking an experienced Farm Supervisor.

Poultry farming is a physically demanding and strenuous occupation. Farm Supervisors are typically required to work 40 hours per week on a 5-day schedule. Candidates must possess physical strength, stamina, endurance, and a high level of fitness to perform the duties of the position effectively. The role involves prolonged periods of indoor work, exposure to dusty, odorous, and hot environments, including working in high temperatures, as well as repetitive tasks that may be physically exhausting.

Duties:

• Conduct artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses
• Diagnose livestock health issues
• Handling animals
• Monitoring animal health
• Organize tasks to accomplish the work
• Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
• Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
• Maintain livestock performance records
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Maintain work records and logs
• Train staff
• Perform general farm duties

• $ 23.00 per hour
