Responsibilities
Tasks
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service and quality standards.
- Manage and coordinate staff including supervisors, servers, and kitchen employees in a fast-paced environment.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff; monitor performance and provide ongoing coaching and discipline where required.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations in line with provincial standards.
- Manage inventory, order food supplies, packaging, and equipment to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Control operational costs, including food, labour, and waste, to meet profitability targets.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service issues promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing for peak hours, including drive-thru operations.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and implement strategies to improve revenue and efficiency.
- Ensure proper maintenance of restaurant equipment, cleanliness of dining areas, and overall facility upkeep.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, daily deposits, and adherence to company financial policies.
- Implement company policies, promotional programs, and brand standards consistent with Dairy Queen operations.
