Job description:
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: $41.00 hourly, for 40 hours per week.
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Primary business locations:
- 3090 Barons Rd, Nanaimo, BC, V9T 4B5
- 401 – 50 Burnhamthorpe Rd W, Mississauga, ON, L5B 3C2
- Various construction sites across British Columbia and/or Ontario, depending on project needs
Education: No formal education is required
Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience as an ironworker, reinforcing steel worker, or in structural steel installation
Languages: Written and spoken English are required
Required Skills & Experience (must be clearly demonstrated):
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications
- Experience handling, positioning, and securing reinforcing steel bars (rebar) or structural steel components
- Experience working with rigging, hoisting equipment, and signalling crane operators
- Experience tying rebar, assembling steel structures, or installing metal frameworks
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely in a construction environment
Work Environment Requirements:
- Must be comfortable working:
- At heights
- Outdoors in varying weather conditions
- In physically demanding conditions (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
Language:
- English (spoken and written) required for safety and communication on job sites
