Blueridge Electrical Ltd. is hiring Electricians to join our team working across various sites in the Lower Mainland area. The successful candidate will be responsible for wiring new single-family and multi-family homes, performing service upgrades, installing outlets, panels, and fixtures, and ensuring all work meets BC Electrical Code standards. You will work closely with a skilled team of certified electricians on active construction and renovation projects throughout the region. Position Description

Position: Electrician              

Type of employment: Full-Time; Permanent

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible

Work Location: Various Locations in Lower Mainland and/or as per company’s contract and demand

Salary & Benefits

Wage: $36.60 to $39.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to plan wiring layouts.
• Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
• Pull wires through conduits and holes in walls, floors, or ceilings to ensure proper installation.
• Splice, join, and connect wires to fixtures and components to form circuits accurately and safely.
• Test electrical systems for loose connections, broken insulation, and isolate faults, using hand and power tools.
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems, replacing faulty components as needed.
• Promote and comply with health, safety, and environmental standards, safe operating procedures, and the observance of protective equipment requirements at all times.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and maintain accurate maintenance records to ensure the ongoing functionality of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, including safe operating procedures and the use of protective equipment.
• Collaborate with other trades and professionals to support project completion.
• Provide technical guidance and support to electrician helpers.
• Perform other duties as reasonably required to support smooth operations.

Qualification & Requirements

• Completion of secondary school.
• Completion of a 4–5 year apprenticeship program, or at least 2–3 years of practical experience in the trade.
• Trade certification is an asset, though not mandatory.
• Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and solve problems effectively.
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Perform other job duties as required.
