Smoke to Snacks is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage daily accounting, payroll, and financial reporting activities. This role requires strong QuickBooks Online experience and the ability to work independently while coordinating with management and external accountants.
Maintain financial records using QuickBooks Online and other bookkeeping systems
Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Prepare invoices, track payments, and assist with accounts payable and receivable
Process payroll and prepare related payroll documentation and remittances
Assist with GST filings, WSBC reporting, and other government forms
Maintain general ledgers and assist with preparing financial reports and trial balances
Organize receipts, invoices, and supporting accounting documents
Provide general bookkeeping and office administration support
Completion of secondary school is required
Basic accounting, bookkeeping, or finance training or coursework is considered an asset
Previous bookkeeping, accounting clerk, or office administration experience is preferred
Experience using QuickBooks Online is an asset
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
