JOB DUTIES
The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for the following:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff during assigned shifts
- Train new employees on food preparation standards, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in accordance with Domino’s quality and portioning standards
- Monitor food inventory levels and place orders as required to maintain adequate stock
- Oversee the opening and/or closing of the store, including cash reconciliation and end-of-day procedures
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Enforce all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in compliance with applicable health regulations
- Assign tasks and duties to team members and ensure efficient workflow during peak periods
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Complete daily reports, logs, and other administrative duties as required by management
- Support the Store Manager in achieving operational targets, including speed-of-service and customer satisfaction goals
- Perform all duties of a food service worker when required, including food preparation and order fulfillment
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in the food service or hospitality industry
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Basic cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system experience
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices (Food Handler Certification is an asset)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
WORK CONDITIONS
- Location: 351 St Andrew St W, Fergus, ON N1M 1P1
- Work Schedule: Shift-based; availability required including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and work in a warm kitchen environment
