Are you looking to kick start your career in the trade? We are hiring Plumber Helpers to support our skilled plumbing and heating crews on active job sites throughout Lower Mainland area. You will get hands-on experience working alongside tradespeople on a variety of residential and commercial projects from new builds to renovations. We are looking for someone who shows up ready to work, takes pride in doing things right, and is excited to grow within a fast-paced, team-oriented company. No experience? No problem.  We will train the right person.

Position Description

Position: Plumber Helper

Type of employment: Full-Time; Permanent

No of positions: 2

Anticipated Start date: As soon as possible

Work Location: Various locations in Lower Mainland (BC) as per company’s contracts

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $28.00 per hour

Overtime and Vacation Pay

Stable, full-time employment

Transport to workplace (if required)

Relocation assistance of up to $1500 for qualified candidates and a referral bonus of up to $1,000 for current employees.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
• Carry materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Help locate and mark positions for pipe connections, fixtures, and openings in walls and floors.
• Prepare work areas by setting up equipment, protecting surfaces, and cleaning job sites.
• Support testing of plumbing systems for leaks and proper operation using air and water pressure equipment.
• Assist in diagnosing basic plumbing issues such as clogged drains or leaking fixtures.
• Follow instructions from plumbers and supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
• Observe and comply with workplace safety procedures, job-site rules, and company policies.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with team members to support daily work activities.
• Perform other related plumbing helper duties, as assigned, to support timely completion of projects.

Qualification & Requirements

• Previous experience in plumbing, construction, or related trade is an asset; however, training will be provided to suitable candidates with no prior experience.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
• Good communication skills to follow instructions and coordinate with team members.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and carry out assigned tasks under supervision.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions, as required by job sites and project schedules.
