Responsibilities
Tasks
- Assemble wooden cabinet components and fixtures using hand and power tools according to work orders, drawings, and specifications.
- Prepare, sand, trim, and fit cabinet parts to ensure proper alignment and quality standards.
- Assemble subcomponents such as cabinet boxes, drawers, doors, and frames into complete units.
- Install hardware including hinges, drawer slides, handles, knobs, and clasps.
- Reinforce assembled cabinets using dowels, screws, brackets, clamps, and other supports to ensure structural stability.
- Inspect finished cabinets and components to verify conformance to quality standards and specifications.
- Perform minor adjustments or repairs to ensure proper function and finish.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow workplace safety procedures.
