Responsibilities
Tasks
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff in food service areas, including servers, cooks, and kitchen assistants.
- Plan and assign work schedules, monitor staff performance, and provide training or coaching as required.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and sanitation regulations in all food preparation and service areas.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain accurate records of stock and usage.
- Assist in menu planning, special event arrangements, and daily food preparation requirements.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly to maintain high service standards.
- Maintain cost control by managing waste, portion sizes, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare reports on staff performance, inventory, and customer feedback for management review.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations during events, conferences, and hotel services.
- Enforce workplace policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols among food service staff.
