Technical Sales Specialist by Anker Geo Canada Inc
Location: Kelowna/Lake Country BC
- Hybrid (on location and remote work)
- Salary 42.79 hourly / 30.00 hours per week

Education
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years (mining/geology or geophysical engineering)
- or equivalent experience
Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years
- Experience in sales and technical support of the following equipment and accessories: shoring equipment and anchor systems for earth retention, equipment for Cone-Penetration Testing (CPT), Deep Foundation drill rigs and related tools, other equipment for foundation and special construction work in soils
Hybrid
Work must be completed both in person and remotely.
Responsibilities
Tasks
- Promote sales to existing clients
- Identify and solicit potential clients
- Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
- Providing technical sales support and consulting clients on technical aspects of using equipment and related accessories
- Develop reports and proposals to illustrate the benefits of the use of goods or services
- Deliver sales presentations
- Prepare and administer sales contracts
- Consult with clients after the sale to provide ongoing support
- Resolve product and service related problems
- Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
- Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service
- Interaction with design organizations. Assistance in the design of engineering structures, in particular, the calculation of the bearing capacity of the proposed materials for anchor systems.
